Arrange your documents
Keep clear copies of Aadhaar, bank passbook, photo and certificates. Your name must match on every document.

Most money is sent by Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). If Aadhaar is not linked to your account, the payment fails.

16 questions answered
What does SahiYojana do?
SahiYojana turns long government notifications into short, simple guides. For every scheme you see who can apply, the benefit, the documents, the exact steps to apply and how to check your status — on one page.
Who is behind SahiYojana?
SahiYojana is run by Prabhash, a full-time content creator and web developer with 6 years of experience in building websites. He started SahiYojana so that every family can find the right scheme without depending on agents.
Is SahiYojana an official government website?
No. SahiYojana is an independent information website and is not connected to any ministry, department or government body. We explain official information in simple words. To apply, always use the official portal or your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC).
Do I have to pay anything to use SahiYojana?
No. Every guide, the eligibility checker, the calculators, the Last Date Calendar and all other tools are completely free. There is no registration and no login.
Can SahiYojana apply for me or get my form approved?
No. SahiYojana does not fill forms for anyone, does not charge any fee and cannot influence approval. If someone asks you for money in SahiYojana's name, it is a fraud — do not pay and please report it to us.
Will you ever ask for my Aadhaar, bank details or OTP?
Never. We do not ask for Aadhaar numbers, bank details, passwords or OTPs. The eligibility checker works only inside your browser and nothing you type is saved.
How is SahiYojana free? How does it earn?
The website shows advertisements, such as Google ads. Ad income pays for hosting and research so the guides stay free for everyone. We do not sell personal data.
Where does your information come from?
Only from official sources — scheme guidelines, ministry and department portals, government notifications, gazettes, PIB press releases and state government websites. Each guide links to its official source.
How do you keep guides up to date?
Each guide shows the date it was last checked on the official website. When a rule, amount or last date changes, the guide is updated and the date changes too.
How can I find schemes I qualify for?
Use the eligibility checker on the homepage, or tap "I am a…" at the top. Answer six simple questions and you will see schemes that usually match your profile. Then open each guide to confirm the exact rules.
Which documents are needed for most schemes?
Usually Aadhaar card, a bank account linked with Aadhaar, a passport-size photo, mobile number, and depending on the scheme an income, caste, residence or land certificate. Every guide has a documents checklist you can tick and print.
My scheme money has not come. What should I check?
Check that Aadhaar is seeded with your bank account, your eKYC is complete, your name is the same in Aadhaar and bank records, and your account is active. The payment or DBT status page shows the exact reason.
Can I take benefits from a central and a state scheme together?
In most cases, yes. Central and state schemes are usually separate, so you can get both if you meet the rules of each. Some schemes do not allow people who already get a similar benefit — the guide mentions it.
Can I read SahiYojana in Hindi or my own language?
Yes. Tap the language button on the side of the screen to read in Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Odia, Malayalam or Gujarati. Every guide also has a Listen button that reads it aloud.
I found a mistake. How do I tell you?
Send the page link and the correct details through the Contact page. We check every report against the official source and correct the guide quickly.
How do I get alerts for new schemes and last dates?
Enter your email in the alert box on the homepage, or join our WhatsApp and Telegram channels. You get new schemes, list releases and last-date reminders for free.
