There Is No UP Laptop Registration in 2026

• The old free laptop scheme for 10th / 12th pass students ran from 2012 to about 2015. It is not running now.
• Today, UP Board toppers get rewards such as ₹1 lakh and a laptop or tablet (reports differ by year). This is given directly to toppers. There is no form.

These scams use the same tricks again and again:

• A WhatsApp forward or YouTube video with a big title like “National Student Laptop Scheme 2026”.
• A link to a form that asks for your name, Aadhaar, mobile, bank details.
• A small “registration” or “processing fee”, or a request to scan a QR code.
• A fake “last date” to make you hurry.

Stay safe:

1. Never pay any fee for a “free” laptop.
2. Never share your OTP, UPI PIN or ATM PIN.
3. Check real schemes on myScheme or ask your school / college.
